OneStream Planning Lead
Location: Remote – London
Henderson Drake is collaborating with a specialist OneStream consultancy that continues to expand its planning practice across the UK. With a steady pipeline of enterprise transformation projects, the business is seeking a OneStream Planning Lead to oversee the delivery of sophisticated planning solutions for a range of large organisations.
This is a role for an experienced consultant who combines strong OneStream expertise with a solid understanding of FP&A. You’ll take ownership of planning workstreams, work closely with finance leaders, and help shape solutions that improve budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. As finance technology continues to evolve, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore how AI-driven capabilities can further enhance planning, automation, and business insight.
What you will be doing
- Lead the successful delivery of OneStream Planning projects from requirements gathering through to deployment and post-go-live support
- Design scalable planning solutions covering budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and scenario modelling
- Configure and enhance metadata, business rules, workflows, dashboards, reporting, and Cube Views
- Work directly with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend best-practice solutions
- Support integrations between OneStream and ERP or other finance systems
- Facilitate design workshops, user training, and solution demonstrations
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline planning processes and improve decision support
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to consultants across project teams
What you will bring
- 3+ years of OneStream implementation experience with a strong focus on Planning
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Experience designing and configuring enterprise planning solutions within OneStream
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable leading workshops and managing planning workstreams
- Interest in emerging AI capabilities within finance technology and how they can enhance planning processes
- OneStream certifications are advantageous but not essential
