Private Chef/ Nanny

Job Overview

Hi there, I’m Lydia. I am a CEO, and my husband is a founder who owns a number of private members’ clubs across the UK.

We are looking for an organised, and kind person to join our family and help keep our busy household running smoothly. We have two lovely daughters, aged 2 years and 6 months, and are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children while also supporting the day-to-day running of family life.

What would the role look like?

No two days are exactly the same, but the role would typically include:

• Preparing one healthy, home-cooked meal each day for the family.
• Spending a couple of hours each day caring for our 6-month-old baby, allowing us to focus on work and other commitments.
• Helping to keep family life running smoothly by being flexible and proactive in responding to the changing needs of the household.
• Supporting the family with general day-to-day tasks and providing an extra pair of hands where needed.
• Working closely with us to create a calm, organised, and nurturing home environment.

Qualifications

• Professional culinary skills, including menu planning, meal prep, and experience cooking healthy, balanced meals
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities to balance cooking, childcare, and household-related tasks in a structured daily routine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the family, children, and any other household or support staff.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards and safe food handling; relevant food safety or health and hygiene certifications are a plus.

Hours

We are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements for the right candidate and are happy to discuss a schedule that works for everyone.
