Product Developer Italian Speaking

Contract Role | Luxury Fashion Brand

Location: London Fully Site Based

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Until 18th December 2026

Job Purpose:

To support the Senior Product Developer to manage the product development process for RTW (MW / WW focus on denim) by working closely with the designers/suppliers to develop each category from initial concept through to finished product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Critical path management
  • Communication to vendors
  • Delivery tracking of protos and showroom samples
  • Prototype fit session management
  • Vendor management
  • Proto review end to end organisation
  • Show Preparation end to end collaboration, organisation and communication
  • Ensuring clear, concise and accurate data daily, particularly focused on: bill of materials sampling and production, purchase orders and invoicing, departmental tracking documents and shipping paperwork
  • Ad hoc reporting analysis as required by manager
  • Budget management
  • Risk Assessment from initial development through to production
  • Delivering high quality from initial proto through to production
  • Developing the collection in accordance to brand and legal requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Experience of product development of RTW
  • Experience of raw materials
  • Experience of managing the Product Development calendar
  • Experience of working closely with factories for the development of RTW
  • Effective relationship management with design and merchandising teams
  • Adaptable to meet the everchanging demands of the business
  • Enjoys working in a highly pressurised environment
  • Excellent influencing skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Team Player
  • Knowledge of Italian is an important plus
