Solution Architect (Functional) ML-IP

This IT role involves managing, developing, and supporting the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations. You will design and shape end-to-end Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions, translating business needs into scalable, high‑quality system designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end WMS solutions by translating complex business and operational requirements into scalable system architectures.
• Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on requirements, validate solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
• Ensure solution quality by supporting testing phases, validating outputs, and managing defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive successful system implementations, including deployment readiness, go‑live support, and post‑implementation optimisation.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across global WMS solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with WMS solutions (ideally Blue Yonder) within contract logistics or 3PL environments.
• Expertise in analysing business processes and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and system configurations.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills, with a proactive and detail‑oriented mindset.
