Data Architect (Contract) – Databricks Implementation

We are urgently seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead and support the implementation of Databricks and related data solutions in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions, with a strong focus on Databricks.
• Define and oversee data platform, integration, and governance strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide architectural guidance across data engineering and analytics initiatives.
• Support the adoption of additional technologies and solutions as directed by the client.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks and modern cloud‑based data platforms.
• Experience designing data lakes, data warehouses, and end‑to‑end data architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Location: London or Swindon (2–3 days per week onsite)
• Start: Immediate / Urgent requirement
