Role Overview

Energy Project Liaison Officer – Permanent contract, hybrid worker, 37 hours per week from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Location: Harvey Road (NG8 3BB); travel to Loxley House (NG2 3NG) and other sites as required.

Salary: Grade F, starting £32,597 (Level 1) rising to £35,412 (Level 4).

About the Role

Join the Sustainable Energy Team as an Energy Project Liaison Officer, playing a key role in supporting residents through energy improvement projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, providing clear and accessible information.
  • Coordinate enquiries, manage access and refusals, and ensure customers feel informed throughout project delivery.
  • Work closely with tenants, leaseholders, contractors and internal teams; attend events, lead consultations, and conduct site visits.
  • Investigate enquiries, collect and analyse data, generate reports and feedback for continuous service improvement.
  • Monitor contractor liaison performance, coordinate project communications, and help shape inclusive engagement practices.

This varied, people‑focused role requires organisational skill, empathy and confidence in working with diverse communities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience working in a pressurised environment with the ability to use initiative and manage competing priorities.
  2. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage workload effectively.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  4. Proficiency using IT systems (including Microsoft Office) to produce clear, concise reports and support decision‑making.
  5. Experience or ability to contribute to service improvement and deliver customer‑focused outcomes.
  6. A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to support tenants, leaseholders and services to achieve positive outcomes.
