Applications Developer

We are working with a leading international professional services firm seeking an experienced Applications Developer to join their technology team in London. This role focuses on developing and enhancing high-performance web, mobile, and client‑server applications, supporting business‑critical systems, and delivering innovative solutions aligned to organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC /.NET technologies
• Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end solutions using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery)
• Develop and optimise SQL databases to ensure performance, integrity, and scalability
• Create and deliver reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI and SSRS
• Use low‑code platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate) to streamline business processes
• Integrate applications with internal systems and third‑party services
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to best development practices
• Provide user support and occasional out‑of‑hours maintenance where required

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong experience with .NET, C#, Web APIs, and SQL Server
• Proven experience building modern web applications (ASP.NET MVC /.NET Core)
• Strong front‑end development experience (React, Angular, etc.)
• Experience delivering reporting and data visualisation solutions
• Familiarity with low‑code platforms such as Power Platform tools
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
