Band 7 Clinical Team lead – Physiotherapy

Role Overview

Physiotherapy Clinical Team Lead for Inpatient Therapy, Moseley Hall Hospital, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The role supports the management and development of the In‑Patient Therapy Team, working closely with the Service Clinical Manager and the existing Occupational Therapy Clinical Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on service priorities with the Service Clinical Manager, managing patient flow and supporting the therapy team.
• Lead the In‑Patient Therapy team (consisting of an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist and therapy assistants) and ensure the team’s voice informs the service transformation and future direction.
• Support the Discharge to Assess pathway, providing clinical leadership to facilitate discharge and maintain appropriate length of stay.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as the Single Transfer of Care Hub to provide safe, effective and excellent care.
• Work alongside the existing B7 Occupational Therapy Clinical Team Lead to integrate therapy services.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant clinical experience and demonstrated leadership skills are required.
