Fire & Security Engineer – Fareham Area
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 + excellent benefits
A rapidly growing and forward-thinking fire & security specialist is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join its expanding team covering the Fareham and surrounding areas.
The Role
The Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and fault‑finding of a range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and fault‑find on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Carry out system installations and upgrades where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the business on‑site
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and/or security systems (CCTV, intruder, access control)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
