Overview
The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, maintenance, technical support and lifecycle management of a portfolio of CCTV, Access Control and Integrated Security systems across South and East London. The successful candidate will manage their own area, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service whilst maintaining operational and technical performance across key accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, fault‑find and repair CCTV, Access Control and Integrated Security systems.
- Manage the technical and operational lifecycle of assigned client accounts within the designated area.
- Plan and organise own workload and diary to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance visits across commercial sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical point of contact.
- Support system upgrades, technology refreshes and implementation of new IP‑based security solutions.
- Work closely with the Operations Support Team and Senior Management to ensure customer satisfaction and account performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience within the Electronic Security industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and integrated security systems.
- Experience working with IP‑based security technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Reliable, trustworthy, self‑motivated, and committed to delivering high standards of service.
Working Hours & Package
- Basic salary of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission scheme with realistic OTE of £45,000 – £55,000.
