Mechanical Project Manager – Major Building Services Projects

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join King & Moffatt Building Services and take ownership of mechanical project delivery from pre‑construction to handover.
This is a key leadership role where you’ll drive program delivery, commercial performance, quality and client relationships across complex M&E projects.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing
- Managing mechanical project delivery from pre-construction to handover through to completion
- Managing project budgets, cost control and commercial performance alongside Quantity Surveyors
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and main contractors
- Managing subcontractor performance, productivity and quality standards
- Identifying and managing project risks, variations and technical challenges
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely and inline with EHSQ requirements
- Providing regular progress updates, reporting and forecasting to senior management
- Driving quality standards and snag‑freed delivery across projects

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 7+ years experience within the M&E/Mechanical Building Services industry
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financials
- Valid CSCS Black Card
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, commissioning and project delivery processes
- Experience using MS Project, Asta, Procore, Fieldview or similar platforms
- Ability to manage fast‑paced, technically complex projects
- Membership of CIOB, APM or CIBSE
- Experience managing multidisciplinary M&E teams
