Job Title: Design Engineer
Are you a Design Engineer with an excellent mechanical engineering background and experience in product design within a manufacturing environment, utilising multi‑component sheet metal assemblies?

Responsibilities
- Design and detailing of conceptual design through to manufacturing drawings.
- Correct sizing/specification of individual components.
- Compilation of Bill of Materials and specifications for purchasing and manufacturer.
- Evaluation, testing and introduction of alternative designs and components.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualified in HNC / HND / Degree level in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fully conversant in 2D & 3D mechanical design packages.
- Excellent all‑round mechanical engineering skills.
- Component sizing / selection / costing.
- Experience of multi‑component sheet metal assemblies.
- Knowledge of Thermodynamics highly advantageous.
