This company is a multi-utility provider of gas, water and electricity with an over 30-year history and is a major player in the sector. They are now looking to recruit a Design Engineer to support further growth.
In this role the successful candidate will work within the company’s electrical networks business unit where they will help the company adopt quality assets by ensuring adopted electrical network assets are compliant with company standards and regulations. This will include reviewing designs, issuing technical approval to developers and liaising with construction partners to offer technical support.
The Role:
- Ensure adopted electrical network assets are compliant with company standards and regulations
- Work within the company’s electrical networks business unit
- Review designs, issue technical approval to developers and liaise with construction partners to offer technical support

The Person:
- Experience designing electrical distribution networks (LV/HV)
- Experience with electrical asset adoptions and knowledge of DNO/IDNO adoption agreements
- Commutable to Ashtead 3 days a week
