LeadingmediaeventsbusinessseeksahighlyaccomplishedPortfolioCommercialManager/SeniorSalesManagertojointheirHospitalityportfolio,leadingthecommercialsalesstrategyanddeliveryacrosstwoflagshipbrands.

ThePortfolioCommercialManagerwilloperateasahands-on“player-manager”,responsibleforcreatinganddeliveringthecommercialplaninlinewiththewidereventstrategy,whilecoachinganddevelopingthesalesteamtodriveperformance,pipelinegrowthandrevenuedelivery.

Alongsideteamleadership,therolewillalsoretainresponsibilityforkeyaccounts,sponsorshipopportunitiesandnewbusinessgenerationacrosstheportfolio.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead,manageandtrainasalesteamof5sales&seniorsalesexecutives.
• Develop&deliverrobustcommercialplansthatalignwithwiderbusinessobjectives,identifyingrevenueopportunities,settingclearsalestargets,anddrivingstrategicinitiativestomaximisegrowth,customerretention,andlong-termcommercialsuccess.
• Lead&championtheeffectiveuseoftheCRMsystemacrossthesalesteam,ensuringaccuratedataallocation,high-qualitypipelinemanagement,accuratereportinganddrivingcustomerengagement&commercialperformance.
• Keyaccountandaccountmanagement.
• Newbusinessdevelopment.
• Floorplanmanagement.

KEYEXPERIENCEREQUIRED

• Experiencewithintheevents(exhibitions)industryapriority.
• Managementofsalesteamapreference.
• Self-motivatedandperformancedriven,withadesiretoachievegoalsandattaincommercialsuccess.
• Abilitytodemonstrateadvancedobjectionhandling,negotiationandclosingskillsbothoverthephoneandfacetoface.
• Greatverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
• Excellentorganisationalskills,withanabilitytoprioritisetasksandmanageworkloadwitheffectivesalesplanning.
• Experienceofwritingdetailedpartnershipandsponsorshipproposals.
• KnowledgeandexperienceusingCRMsystems(ideallyHubspot).
• Abilitytonurturestrongkeyclientrelationships.
