An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT professional to join our IT Department.
We are looking for a confident IT Security Specialist to work within our IT Operations team, taking ownership of security incident detection and response, vulnerability management, and ensuring effective security governance aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve leading a 3rd party SOC service, maintaining and improving security policies and procedures, delivering security awareness training, and contributing to the ongoing development of the colleges security roadmap while ensuring compliance with standards such as Cyber Essentials and GDPR.
You will need the following Technical Skills/Knowledge: Firewalls, network configuration, and endpoint protection.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Cyber Security including a minimum of three years experience in a cyber security role within an enterprise environment. Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
This is a full time, permanent position, based at our Watford campus (hybrid working pattern available).
