Academy Kitchens is looking for a Business Development & Key Account Manager to help us grow the next stage of the business.

Academy Kitchens manufactures kitchens, bedrooms and fitted furniture from our factory in Lingfield, Surrey. We work with developers, builders, interior designers, architects, retailers, refurb companies, trade partners and private clients across London and the South East.

We’re now looking for someone commercially minded and relationship-led to help us build a more consistent new-business pipeline, reactivate previous clients, strengthen key relationships and open up new opportunities across the trade, developer and design sectors.

This is not a kitchen design role. We already have design, estimating, manufacturing and production support internally. This role is about getting in front of the right people, opening doors, following up properly and helping Academy grow.

The role will involve:

* Building relationships with developers, builders, designers, architects, retailers and trade partners

* Reactivating previous/cold clients

* Opening new accounts and new sales channels

* Managing opportunities through our CRM

* Following up quotations and live opportunities properly

* Keeping key relationships warm

* Working closely with our internal design, estimating and production team

* Helping us build an additional £1m–£2m of profitable turnover over the next few years

The ideal person will have experience in kitchens, interiors, fitted furniture, worktops, appliances, building products, construction sales, specification sales or another trade-facing B2B sales role.

Package:

* £35,000–£45,000 basic salary depending on experience

* Monthly commission based on qualifying gross profit from new and reactivated clients

* Realistic total OTE of £55,000–£75,000+

* Uncapped commission for strong performance

* Business mileage covered

* Phone/VOIP setup provided

* Full-time role
