Hartmann Young is partnered with a leading UK-based manufacturer of vitamins, minerals, supplements and consumer healthcare products in the search for a Key Account Manager.

Our client is a market-leading contract manufacturer supplying many of the world’s most recognised retailers, pharmacy groups and consumer health brands. With extensive manufacturing capabilities, a strong quality reputation and continued investment in growth, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial team through the appointment of a Key Account Manager.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing strategic customer relationships across the UK market. This role will focus on driving organic growth within existing accounts, identifying new commercial opportunities and acting as a trusted partner to customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to deliver best-in-class service and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic UK accounts across retail, consumer health and private label channels.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across procurement, category management and product development functions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, annual reviews and contract discussions.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches and category expansion.
- Coordinate customer projects from concept through to commercialisation.
- Monitor market activity, customer trends and competitor developments.
- Collaborate internally to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans and commercial reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, National Account Management or Business Development.
- Background within nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients or contract manufacturing.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing customer relationships.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and strategic accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and customer-focused.
