A brilliant opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Newquay, Cornwall. Offering a salary of circa £28,000, this is a fantastic chance to work in a varied role within a friendly and experienced team. The firm provides accounting, payroll, and tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including business owners and private individuals. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of accounts and tax returns for a range of clients
- Support bookkeeping and VAT return submissions
- Process payroll accurately for a variety of businesses
- Provide general support and advice to clients and team members
- Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and deadlines
What Experience Is Required
- Experience working in a UK accountancy practice is desirable
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Circa £28,000
