Business Manager – Accountancy & Finance @ Eden Scott | Hiring the best Finance talent for the top industries across Scotland!
Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting a growing business in West Lothian as they seek an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is a varied role where you’ll be exposed to the wider finance team, with key duties including:
- Customer account reconciliations, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts receivable ageing reports and resolving customer queries
- Assisting with management accounts preparation, journal postings, and audit support
- Preparing VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing supplier invoices and resolving supplier queries
- Maintaining and updating customer and supplier databases
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Driven and motivated
- Experienced in a similar role
- Strong in analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- IT literate and comfortable working with finance systems
