Blackstone Strategic Partners is a global capital solutions provider with $100B of investor capital under management. Their Real Estate Secondaries Summer Analyst Program is a 10‑week in‑person experience that offers extensive exposure across the firm, mentorship, technical and soft‑skill training, and networking opportunities with professionals across Blackstone.
Programme Description
Summer Analysts will be immersed in the real estate secondaries investment team, working on valuation analysis, financial modeling of real‑estate funds and properties, and participation in secondary transactions, recapitalizations, co‑investments, and primary commitments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive valuation analysis and financial modeling of real‑estate funds and properties across all geographies and asset classes, including multifamily, industrial and logistics, hospitality, retail, and niche sectors such as cold storage and data centers.
- Assist in secondary transactions, fund and asset‑level recapitalizations, co‑investments, primary commitments, and other unique transaction structures.
- Prepare and present internal materials for new transactions, assemble Investment Committee memos, compile materials for weekly team meetings, and analyze market data for various transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to work in a team‑driven environment with dynamic roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Self‑motivation to find solutions independently and humility to acknowledge limits and uncertainties.
- Commitment to professional development, excellent attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and good judgment.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student with anticipated graduation: Summer2028.
