Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the delivery of specialist support for children and young people who have a learning disability.
- Under the supervision of qualified nurses, contribute to and be responsible for implementing packages of care.
- Work across a variety of settings (e.g., family homes, educational settings and respite units) to support children and young people and ensure they receive structured support.
- Carry out other tasks involving direct care and administrative work such as data inputting, filing and accurate record‑keeping.
- Contribute to the learning environment and development of the service as an active member of the team.
We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds; we are particularly keen to encourage applications from people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBTQ+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge to AWP, as diversity makes us stronger.
