Our Supported living services help people to live as independently as possible. You will be responsible for delivering support for people to live in a safe and happy home.

Your Purpose
Help people using our services to live the lives they choose based on what they need and what is important to them. This covers lots of things such as assisting people with their personal hygiene, washing, dressing, and meals; through to helping people do whatever they choose to do in a day and when out and about, that makes them happy. You will do this in a dignified and respectful way with a focus on their mental and physical good health.
Your Role
- Deliver excellent care and support to each individual you work with: safe, personal to each individual, respectful, maintaining their dignity, and carried out according to their needs and preferences.
- Provide each individual with excellent quality personal care, including helping people maintain good personal hygiene, washing, dressing, oral hygiene and nail care.
- Manage medication according to the person’s needs. Ensure that the individual receives the right medication, in the right dose, at the right time, and support them at the appropriate level.
- Prepare meals and help people to eat according to individual dietary requirements.
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping.
- Support people to have a social and active lifestyle according to what they want.
- Provide companionship, helping people to feel less isolated.
- Work closely with your Support Officers to plan and review care and support needs and activities in line with each person’s needs and aspirations.
- Record the care and support you provide, the feedback from the people you support, and any other important information that helps your peers and manager continue to deliver excellent care and support.
- Report and record any concerns you have about a person’s well‑being.
