Operations Buyer and Travel Support Coordinator – West Lothian, Scotland

We are looking for an experienced Operations Buyer and Travel Support Coordinator based in West Lothian, Scotland who will be responsible for purchasing and travel support for the site.

Day-to-day duties and responsibilities include:

  • Indirect PO generation, conversion, placement with suppliers and support open invoice reconciliation.
  • Global travel management support; processing and organising traveller enquiries.
  • Global IT category approvals support.
  • Processing confidentiality agreements and contract request forms, and supporting administration of contracts with legal, supporting global sites with vendor addition and maintenance change requests; per terms e‑sourcing – supporting the team in facilitating/ administering RFP/e‑auction events and future pipeline projects.
  • Producing and publishing KPI reporting metrics to support the business.
  • Using Excel to manage complex datasets and delivering KPI reporting.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week – Mon–Thu 9:00–17:00, Fri 9:00–16:30. This is a 12‑month contract role that will be reviewed for possible extension or permanent placement, depending on performance.

Compensation: PAYE rate of £15.00 per hour.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in purchasing within a highly regulated industry.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel.
