We are seeking a talented and motivated Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team.

Role Summary

The Logistics Operative will be responsible for carrying out tasks across all areas – goods‑in, materials handling, warehousing, storing, packing and distribution. You will be part of continuous improvement projects focusing on customer satisfaction, cost reduction, on‑time performance and process efficiency improvements. Liaise with and support internal departments and external customers with their logistics requirements, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely, professional and efficient manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out a range of duties flexibly across all logistics areas, while being responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and others in line with our EHS policies.
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner in line with operational procedures and ERP processes.
  • Help maintain 6S standards across the team and utilise lean methodology to optimise processes, whilst ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong previous experience working within logistics including materials handling, packing, warehousing, storage and distribution of goods.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse group of people.
  • Flexible, can‑do attitude with high motivation to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Previous exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
  • Competence and confidence in the use of relevant IT packages including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Experience of investigations into non‑conformance and root cause analysis.
