FLT Driver

Purpose of the role

To pick and load orders to customers’ requirements on time, receive and book incoming goods, allocate items to specified locations, and communicate with transport drivers about trailer movements and dock allocations.

Responsibilities

• Pick and load all customer orders.
• Take all incoming deliveries of consumables (excluding silo deliveries), book into stock, assign a GRN number, and put stock in the allocated position in the warehouses.
• Liaise with transport drivers to allocate trailers off and on docks.
• Load any allocated scrap onto the scrap collection vehicle.
• Keep warehouses clean and tidy.
• Perform any other duties reasonably requested by the Planner.

Experience and attributes

• Confident and competent in a warehousing environment.
• Valid FLT license.
• Aware of health and safety requirements within production/warehouse environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
