Reception Teaching Assistant
Our client based in Wylde Green is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant at a two‑form entry Primary school.
You must have at least 12 months of experience working within a primary school setting and have the desire to make a difference within the classroom.
Key responsibilities include supporting the teaching team, implementing the primary curriculum, safeguarding children, and fostering a positive learning environment that requires patience, stamina, teamwork and a caring attitude.
Key Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary setting
- Good oral, written and numeracy skills
- High expectations of all children
- Ability to enthuse and inspire children
- Commitment to improving outcomes for all children
- Understanding of how children learn and progress
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to go the extra mile
The role starts in September 2026 and will be ongoing, possibly permanent for the right candidate.
