Job responsibilities

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and visitors. Your duties include:

• Serving meals and refreshments to residents and family members.
• Maintaining clean, comfortable dining areas and ensuring a positive mealtime environment.
• Supporting the hospitality and kitchen teams with day‑to‑day food and beverage delivery.
• Preparing dining areas, serving residents, and assisting with kitchen duties.
• Ensuring high standards of hospitality and customer service are upheld.

About you

• Experience in hospitality, catering or customer service.
• A friendly, caring and professional approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
