Senior Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEMH Schools

Pay: £92.59 – £130 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-Time | Term Time Only
We are currently recruiting Senior Learning Support Assistants (Senior LSAs) for SEMH schools across Wandsworth. These roles involve supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, alongside other additional learning needs, within specialist educational settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students 1:1 and in small groups
- Lead and support learning activities within the classroom
- Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation strategies
- Build strong, consistent relationships with students and staff
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Support and mentor junior support staff where required
We’re Looking For
- Experience working in SEMH, SEN, education, care, or youth support settings
- A calm, resilient, and patient approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- A proactive, reliable, and consistent attitude
