The Role
We are looking for experienced and engaging Turkish teachers to deliver face‑to‑face adult group courses, primarily:
- Evenings: 18:30–20:30 (groups running once per week)
- Additional opportunities: weekday afternoons, Friday evenings, and weekends
What you’ll do
- Deliver high-quality, communicative Turkish lessons to adult learners
- Plan engaging lessons aligned with IH syllabi
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Build a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards
- Complete attendance records and update SharePoint folder with a work done record
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Turkish
- Recognised teaching qualification in Turkish
- Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching groups
- Right to work in the UK and currently UK-based
- Degree in Turkish Language Education
- Competitive salary based on experience: £27.33 – £30.24/hour + holiday pay
