About the Role
As the Resourcing Manager, you will lead and coach a team of Resourcing Business Partners and Consultants, ensuring the recruitment process attracts diverse talent and meets business needs. You will work closely with HRBP and senior stakeholders to proactively plan resourcing activity, develop new attraction strategies, and maintain competitive positioning. Your role covers candidate attraction, selection, stakeholder management, and onboarding, and you will drive performance through goal setting, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver an excellent service across end‑to‑end recruitment, managing team performance, appraisals, and development.
- Ensure team adherence to processes and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas for continuous process improvement.
- Implement on‑job and formal coaching and training plans.
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with senior leaders across Severn Trent.
- Play a key role in strategic change projects and support other initiatives to enhance the resourcing and talent function.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience managing 5‑10 people in a process‑driven recruitment environment.
- Deliver first‑class service to varied stakeholders.
- Geared to motivate a team towards service excellence.
- Track record in delivering contingent, permanent, and high‑volume recruitment services.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Use of management information to drive performance and improvement.
- Experience working with third parties to support operational delivery.
