Role Overview

Differentis is looking for an SC Cleared Technical Lead who will be working within a government environment. The role sits within a high-profile programme focused on advancing AI model development in a complex, data-intensive and secure environment. The role will ensure technical design, delivery and outputs are operationally credible, aligned to business objectives, and capable of supporting a scalable and repeatable AI delivery model within secure, sovereign environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and assurance across AI model development, data pipelines and deployment environments
• Translate operational challenges into clear technical requirements and solution designs
• Oversee end-to-end architecture covering data ingestion, model training, validation and deployment
• Ensure alignment and coherence across multiple suppliers, teams and technology workstreams
• Identify, manage and elevate technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
• Review and assure the quality, robustness and completeness of all technical deliverables
• Act as the primary technical interface between stakeholders, delivery teams and suppliers
• Support development, testing and validation of AI/ML models across defined use cases
• Enable structured evaluation, benchmarking and comparison of technical approaches
• Contribute to the development of scalable, repeatable AI delivery patterns

Key Requirements

• Strong experience leading AI/ML model development and delivery
• Experience working in secure, regulated or complex environments
• Proven background in data pipelines, model training workflows and deployment architectures
• Familiarity with high-volume, complex data sets and analytical environments
• Experience operating in multi-supplier or multi-team delivery settings
• Strong understanding of technical governance, assurance and risk management
• Ability to translate business or operational problems into technical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
