What you’ll be doing
- Developing competitive, high-quality M&E pricing solutions across a major water framework
- Supporting all stages of pre-construction, including early contractor involvement
- Producing estimates ranging from high-level budgets to detailed bottom-up pricing
- Reviewing client specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
- Collaborating with bid managers, planners, designers, and commercial teams
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Engaging with supply chain partners and assessing subcontractor quotations
- Preparing cost breakdowns, comparisons, and tender submission documentation
- Attending client meetings, site visits, and internal reviews
- Ensuring all submissions meet quality standards, deadlines, and commercial requirements
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience delivering M&E estimates within the water industry
- Strong ability to interpret incomplete information and apply engineering judgement to develop accurate pricing
- Experience managing multiple projects within a framework environment
- Solid understanding of water industry processes and M&E assets
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client requirements
- Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams on complex bids
- Proficiency with estimating software and standard IT packages
