Administration Manager (Permanent)
Contract type: Permanent, Working Pattern: Full time, Location: Isle of Man EfW, Hours per week: 37.5, Salary: £34,984 – £43,730.

Location: Energy from Waste Plant Isle of Man (office based 5 x per week).
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage data, maintain records, and support key business processes including invoicing, purchasing, and health & safety coordination. They will act as a central point of contact, supporting stakeholders and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations. You will be a line manager to a team of 2 administrators.
- Produce reports, maintain databases, and manage operational records
- Support financial administration including invoicing, payments, and sales ledger management
- Assist with operational processes such as scheduling, purchasing, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate health & safety activities, training records, and compliance requirements
- Provide general office support including travel, supplies, meetings, and inductions
- Act as a key liaison for internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Qualifications
- Proven administrative or office support experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High attention to detail with experience managing spreadsheets, databases, and reports
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Knowledge or experience in finance, compliance, or operational processes (desirable)
- Proactive, adaptable, and team‑oriented with a professional and problem‑solving mindset
