Role Overview

The role is a 0.8 FTE (29.2hr per week) fixed‑term contract for one year based across Bloomsbury campus with work across various tennis sites in London. The post holder is required to be flexible in their hours of work as the position entails attendance during evenings and weekends. We are looking for a Tennis Development Officer to support the delivery of tennis as one of our Focus Sports. The role combines tennis delivery with desk‑based sports administration and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of tennis as one of our Focus Sports.
• Combine tennis delivery with desk‑based sports administration and student engagement.
• Attend games and events during evenings and weekends as required.
• Run beginner friendly sessions and co‑create community volunteering projects with students.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching tennis.
• Experience delivering sports leagues and events.
• Ability to coach a range of abilities.
• Experience working with and motivating volunteers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
