Hours

• 42 hours per week, various shift patterns (days and nights)
• 1-year contract ending May 2027

The role of Security Officer

• Patrolling the site internally and externally
• Gatehouse duties
• Liaising with customers and visitors
• Responding to security incidents, first aid, and fire alarm response
• Incident report writing
• Access and egress control
• Meeting customer standards at all times

The ideal Security Officer

• Must be over 18
• Current Door Supervisor or Security Guarding SIA licence (essential)
• Full UK manual driving licence and own car required
• Must have resided continuously in the UK for at least 5 years (SC/DV Clearance requirement)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills
• Physically able to be on feet and work outside for long periods
