Graduate Finance Analyst – Investment Management (Python/SQL)

We are working with a leading boutique asset manager seeking a high-calibre Graduate Finance Analyst to join its London team.

specifically designed for candidates with strong academic training in Finance (MSc Finance or equivalent preferred) who are looking to apply their knowledge in a technically driven investment management environment.

You will work at the intersection of finance, data, and automation, supporting reporting, analytics, and process improvement across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Support automation and process optimisation across finance and investment reporting workflows
  • Analyse financial and operational data to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform reconciliations and support data integrity across investment processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across investment, finance, and operations teams
  • Contribute to ongoing automation and data-driven initiatives

Requirements

  • MSc in Finance (or closely related discipline) strongly preferred
  • Strong academic grounding in financial markets, asset classes, and investment management
  • Practical exposure to finance through internships or relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL (essential)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in data, automation, and applied finance
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
