Role: Team Leader (room-based) | 0-1 year olds.
Location: Edwinstowe Day Nursery | Cambridge | CB2 7EB.
Contract: Fixed‑term for 9 months | 37.5-40 hours/week | 52 weeks/year.
Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday‑Friday between 07:45‑18:15.
Salary: £37,044.80‑£37,793.60 per annum (pro‑rata) | £17.81‑£18.17 per hour.

About you
You are a qualified early years professional: you hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level3 or above and have been working in an early years environment for the last couple of years or more.
Key responsibilities
- Create learning opportunities: Plan and implement high‑quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play, and observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
- Advocate for safeguarding: Ensure every child feels safe, valued, and happy, and promote their well‑being.
- Collaborate as a leader: Work in partnership with others, communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and empower your team to deliver outstanding care and achieve their full potential.
Qualifications and skills
- DfE approved early years qualification (level3 or above).
- Minimum of two years working experience in an early years environment.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication, organizational, and people‑management skills.
