Requirements

• At least eighteen months of experience as a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting
• Must hold ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
• Must have state licensure (or be eligible for licensure)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Duties and Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment
• Set and monitor equipment controls, making adjustments as needed
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, including IV insertion and contrast injection when applicable
• Dispense oral contrast for CT studies
• Assist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate scans for technical quality, organize images and label appropriately
• Schedule patients and complete clerical functions such as charging supplies to patient records
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment and promote a safe work setting for staff and customers
