Staff Nurse (Band 5) RDAC

Overview

A Band 5 nursing role within Royal Marsden Trust offering opportunities to work across multiple clinics in cancer care and to enhance nursing practice within an acute setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a variety of clinics including one‑stop breast clinics, nurse‑led wound care clinics and pre/post‑operative patient assessment.
• Assist with diagnostic and minor procedures in dermatology, plastics, sarcoma and breast departments.
• Plan, document, deliver and evaluate evidence‑based nursing care in coordination with shift staff.
• Develop awareness of patients’ needs and various cancer treatment modalities.
• Support shift management under the guidance of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Qualified Staff Nurse with experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Flexible, collaborative team player committed to high‑quality patient care.
