Overview
The Nutrition and Dietetic service is split into speciality teams for secondary care, bariatrics, primary care, adult and paediatric diabetes, home enteral feeding, and paediatrics. Our team is supported by dietetic assistants and central administration.

- Community hospitals in Chester‑le‑Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale
- Other community‑based settings and patient homes in County Durham and Darlington
Service Delivery
The community dietetic team provides cover to the general adult population within County Durham and Darlington, including nursing home visits, domiciliary home visits, community training sessions, and community outreach. The post holder will be based at Bishop Auckland Hospital but will be required to cover other areas within the locality of County Durham and Darlington.

You must be able to produce all certificates stated essential in the person specification or you will not be able to complete pre‑employment checks.
