Position: Associate Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery from concept through to completion, producing and reviewing detailed electrical designs (including power, lighting, and life safety systems)
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers, support team development
• Contribute to project planning, resource management, and business growth

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment
• Currently operating at Senior Engineer level or above, with a desire to step into an Associate role
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guidance)
• Experience working across sectors such as commercial, residential, or education
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux (or similar)
