Pearson Carter is currently working with a global leader in AI infrastructure, building next‑generation “AI Factory” data centres designed to dramatically improve energy efficiency, sustainability, and performance across large‑scale GPU cloud environments.
Due to growth, they are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support end‑to‑end design, commissioning, and optimisation of cutting‑edge electrical and control systems for advanced AI data centre infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from concept through to commissioning
- Develop specifications, calculations, and system designs
- Review consultant and contractor electrical designs
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Develop technical standards and engineering documentation
- Contribute to R&D and system optimisation initiatives
Experience
- 8 years electrical engineering experience
- Strong Data Centre / MEP experience (min 3 years)
- Knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and standards
- Strong design, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working with multidisciplinary and global teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Location
Sydney / Hobart / Launceston (Australia) 10‑30% travel.
