Responsibilities
- Conduct noise and vibration impact assessments.
- Perform sound insulation testing.
- Carry out computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics.
- Prepare technical reports for client submission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects from start to finish.
Please note: This role may occasionally involve night or weekend work and travel across the UK, for which you will be compensated.
Qualifications
- Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Has a full UK driving licence.
- Possesses strong numeracy skills.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing and client interaction.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT tools.
- Can make effective decisions under pressure.
- Is self‑motivated, proactive, and has a positive attitude.
- Is eligible to work in the UK.
Day-to-Day
- Visiting sites to conduct noise and vibration assessments.
- Collaborating with team members to analyse data and develop solutions.
- Writing detailed technical reports for clients.
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
- Learning from experienced consultants and expanding your knowledge in the field of acoustics.
