Social Sciences Teacher (Humanities, Psychology, Sociology & More)

Outstanding Secondary School in the Borough of Wandsworth is looking for a Social Sciences Teacher to start September 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Sciences subjects to KS3‑5 students, including Humanities (History or Geography), RE, Citizenship, PSHE, Sociology, and Psychology.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned with statutory curriculum.
• Contribute to TLR opportunities such as KS4 or KS5 coordination or pastoral roles.
• Inspire and motivate the younger generation to reach their potential.

Qualifications & Experience

• UK QTS or in the process of gaining QTS.
• Strong academic background (degree, A Levels, GCSEs).
• Demonstrated ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards at ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ levels.
• Willingness to listen to feedback and participate in professional development.
• ECTs encouraged to apply.
