Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Executive role based in Radcliffe. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients across domestic, commercial and healthcare sectors. Day‑to‑day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting site visits, preparing and following up on quotes, and presenting Berry Electrical Services’ solutions in a clear and professional manner. The role involves close collaboration with the operations and technical teams to ensure accurate scoping of work and timely delivery of services. The Sales Executive will also track sales activities, update CRM or internal systems, and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, account management or business development, ideally within electrical services, construction or related trades.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with domestic and commercial clients.
- Comfortable with lead generation, cold and warm outreach, and managing a sales pipeline from initial inquiry through to closing.
- Ability to understand and explain electrical services at a high level, working with technical colleagues to scope and price projects accurately.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple enquiries and site visits.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or similar systems) for tracking opportunities and preparing proposals.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented approach and a collaborative mindset aligned with a customer‑service‑focused culture.
- Relevant experience in the UK electrical, facilities management or building services market is highly beneficial.
