Role Overview

You will be part of a team driving innovation across defence and national security, acting as a bridge between strategy and delivery. The role focuses on delivering impactful customer-facing work while leading a high‑performing Business Analysis community.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Analysts, creating an environment where individuals can grow and thrive
  • Align the Business Analysis community with organisational strategy, ensuring consistent and high‑quality delivery across programmes
  • Partner with leadership to shape resourcing, recruitment and workforce planning for the BA function
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Business Analysis, promoting best practice across engineering and customer teams
  • Maintain active involvement in customer‑facing delivery, contributing to projects and bringing insight back into the community
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and successful outcomes

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong track record in project delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience within the Defence or National Security sector, with a clear understanding of complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, User Experience principles and Systems Engineering practices
  • Demonstrated experience of leading, coaching or mentoring others within a team environment
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
