unityWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Lab Technician to support its Quality team on an initial three-month temporary cont

ract.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory, testing or scientific experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet quality standards through analytical testing, monitoring and repo

rting.Key Responsib

  • ilitiesCarry out routine laboratory testing and analysis in line with established proc
  • edures.Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products and finished
  • goods.Record, interpret and report test results accu
  • production teams by identifying quality issues and recommending corrective actions where re
  • quired.Provide guidance and training on testing procedures and quality sta
  • ndards.Ensure testing equipment is maintained, calibrated and used cor
  • rectly.Follow laboratory, quality, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all
  • times.Assist with investigations into non-conformances and quality-related co
  • ncerns.Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the laboratory and production

areas.Candidate Requ

irements

  • EssentialGCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and
  • Science.An understanding of laboratory environments, scientific testing or quality control p
  • rocesses.Good attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • to work.Strong organisational and time managemen
