  • Handling front-line customer queries in a professional manner
  • Supporting customers through account and supply-related processes
  • Providing clear information around services, tariffs and customer accounts
  • Updating internal systems accurately

  • Working closely with the wider customer services team

The Person:

We are looking for someone who is confident, professional and customer-focused.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • A confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good empathy and listening skills
  • Strong English and maths ability
  • Basic Excel skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • The ability to learn new systems and processes
  • The confidence to speak clearly with customers
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What’s On Offer:

  • Full systems and industry training
  • Opportunity to move into the utilities / energy sector
  • Long-term career development
  • Chance to build specialist sector knowledge
  • Supportive team environment
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Office-based role in Ware
  • Opportunity to grow with the business as your experience develops

This would suit someone from a customer service, call centre, contact centre, sales support, administration, retail banking, insurance, telecoms, utilities, energy, hospitality or office-based customer care background.

You may be an experienced Customer Service Advisor looking for a more stable office-based role, or someone with strong people skills who is keen to move into a professional customer services environment with long-term progression.
