siteThe Key Responsibilities of a Pla
- nner:Create, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to support programme de
- livery.Track progress against key milestones, identifying potential risks, delays, and schedule impacts at an early
- stage.Ensure planning information remains accurate and up to date, supporting effective project reporting and decision-
- making.Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to capture progress and reflect changes within programme sch
- edules.Analyse schedule performance, highlighting variances and contributing to the development of mitigation and recovery stra
- tegies.Produce look-ahead plans, milestone reports, and other planning outputs to support project exe
- cution.Provide planning expertise across multiple workstreams, helping to coordinate activities and maintain programme alignment within a complex EPC envir
onment.Below is a list of Key Skills required for a Planner, however you will not be expected to have eve
- rything:Demonstrable experience in a Planning role supporting complex engineering, infrastructure, or EPC project envir
- onments.Strong practical expertise in Primavera P6, including the development, maintenance, and optimisation of project sc
- hedules.Previous experience within energy, manufacturing, logistics, or similarly complex operational
- sectors.Sound understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and programme management best pr
- actices.Ability to work autonomously on-site, managing planning activities with minimal supe
- rvision.Proven track record of identifying, assessing, and communicating schedule risks, dependencies, and critical path
- impacts.Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments with multiple concurrent workstreams and evolving pri
orities.The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not e
- ssential:Previous experience working within EPC project delivery and contract envi
- ronments.Understanding of client reporting requirements, programme governance, and schedule assurance p
- rocesses.Relevant planning qualification, such as APM, P3O, or an equivalent industry-recognised certi
- of NEC contracts and experience supporting planning and reporting requirements within similar contractual fr
