Quality Engineer
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and A3
- Driving quality performance metrics (e.g. First Pass Yield, defect reduction, audit outcomes)
- Conducting process, product, and system audits to AS9100 / ISO9001 standards
- Supporting First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to AS9102
- Identifying and mitigating quality risks across the product lifecycle
- Partnering with suppliers to improve incoming quality and supplier performance
- Leading and supporting continuous improvement and Zero Defect initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements (CAA, EASA, etc.)

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in aerospace, defence or highly regulated industries
- Proven expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, 5 Whys)
- Hands on experience with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Background in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
