You’ll play a critical role in ensuring zero-defect performance, enhancing product safety, and driving continuous improvement across a complex and fast-paced value stream.

Quality Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and A3
  • Driving quality performance metrics (e.g. First Pass Yield, defect reduction, audit outcomes)
  • Conducting process, product, and system audits to AS9100 / ISO9001 standards
  • Supporting First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to AS9102
  • Identifying and mitigating quality risks across the product lifecycle
  • Partnering with suppliers to improve incoming quality and supplier performance
  • Leading and supporting continuous improvement and Zero Defect initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements (CAA, EASA, etc.)

Quality Engineer

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in aerospace, defence or highly regulated industries
  • Proven expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, 5 Whys)
  • Hands on experience with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Background in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
